A Washington, Illinois man, arrested after a standoff in Peoria, was indicted Tuesday. 27 year old Michael Marshall is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Jail officials say Marshall was also being held on a Tazewell County warrant. Police were called September 10th to an apartment in the 1400 block of West Gift after Marshall allegedly fired a gun inside following a dispute. Police claim Marshall barricaded himself inside for about two hours before surrendering without incident. During the standoff, some neighbors were evacuated while others were warned to stay inside their homes. Marshall will be arraigned Thursday.
