The city played host to two television stars known for their love of collectibles.
Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz of history channel's "American Pickers" stayed at Bloomington's Holiday Inn during their search for antiques in two nearby towns.
The show follows the pair across the country as they find and refurbish collectibles.
Sunday, they hit a farm in Gibson City.
Monday, they went to a location that can't be found with a GPS.
Holiday Inn General Manager Michelle Irvin got to meet the pair, and she said the encounter made her job very exciting.
"Something that you watch week after week, it's pretty neat to actually watch them and see that they are real people," said Irvin. "They talk to you just like common people would. And, they look exactly like they do on TV."
American Pickers hits the road 50 weeks out of the year.
Their next destination is California.
