WASHINGTON - A long-time Washington church is throwing a party this weekend.
Saint Mark's Lutheran Church is turning 100 years old.
So to celebrate the milestone... It's holding a re-dedication ceremony.
Generations of church goers are at the event this afternoon.
The pastor says seeing everyone together makes his job exciting.
Pastor John Bates says, "We have all kinds of new members joining the church, and we have all ages represented. It's a really good mix, and I believe it's a healthy mix. It makes ministry very exciting in this place."
More events are happening during worship services tomorrow.
The church is near the Washington Square at Burton and Main.
