MORTON -- Just before getting their pancake fill, runners laced up for the Pumpkin Classic.
A spokesperson for the race said it had more than 1,700 entries.
Runners had the option of participating in the 10K or a 2K fun walk. The event brought in both competitive runners and families.
It's a good day for runner Matt Morgan. He said, "So for our family we love exercising and running and so to have exercise and pumpkin pancakes, what more could you ask for?"
