Ramp Work at Route 6 and 29

IDOT says construction will begin Tuesday, September 18th on northbound Route 6 at the ramp at Route 29 in Peoria County. Northbound Route 6 traffic will exit using an alternate route to allow crews to remove and reconstruct the pavement on the ramp. Expect traffic to remain in this configuration until the end of October. Pavement removal and reconstruction work already underway will continue on the southbound Route 6 ramp.
