Farmington HS Blackout Game Helps Easter Seals

FARMINGTON--Students at Farmington High School are taking action for Easter Seals tonight.
They are hosting their annual blackout football game against Knoxville High School. To raise money for Easter Seals they sold blackout game day t-shirts. Students of Farmington High School sold almost 8-thousand dollars in t-shirts, which is up about 1-thousand dollars from last year.
Students say they enjoy helping with Easter Seals and hope the tradition continues when they graduate.Nineteen schools are participating in the blackout games this year.
Last year local teams donated around 50-thousand dollars to Easter Seals from blackout night fundraisers.
