PEORIA- Peorians have a new place to go for a sweet frozen treat.
With twelve flavors at a time and plenty of toppings, Cherry Berry has been open for about a week in the Westlake shopping center. The company boasts fresh, healthy frozen yoghurt. In a press release it said they sell "a real milk based product, flash frozen within the hour after the cows are milked at a Kosher Certified processing center in Russell, Arkansas."
Peoria store manager Michelle Elliott said business has been good after the soft open, they're just hoping to spread the news by word of mouth.
"Currently we have 'cookie monster', which is actually a Cherry Berry signature flavor so that's something that you can't actually find anywhere else. We also have our 'caramel sea salt pretzel' that's been a fabulous seller," Elliott said.
Elliot said that during football season she hopes to have 'Fro Yo Football Sundays.' Customers will be able to fill a cup with anything for $5 from noon to 4:00 p.m. The shop will play football games on its two T.V. screens.
