Drive-In Can Play at Landmark...For Now

PEORIA- The outdoor show will go on at Landmark Cinemas, at least for the next month.
Landmark Cinemas opened an outdoor venue with a temporary permit in August.
The theater used a special permit for the outdoor screen.
But it couldn't last more than 10 days.
So, Landmark asked to extend their special permit.
And tonight, the Peoria City Council approved the movie theater's extension until October.
Landmark wants to make the screen a permanent feature.
The council will vote on that next month.
