Peoria Basketball Player Receives Sentence

  The last of three members of Peoria Central's State Championship basketball team, arrested last spring, was sentenced Tuesday. Kevin Jordan pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery and received a year's probation, according to court officials. That's the same sentence two other players, Aldonis Foote and Jerrell White, have already received. Foote, Jordan and White were all arrested just hours after Foote and Jordan accepted basketball scholarships to a Missouri school. The suspects were arrested for allegedly beating another Central student last April
