PEKIN-Pekin is wrapping up another Marigold Festival at Mineral Springs park tonight.
The festival is now in its 40th year.
So to mark the anniversary... The theme this year is the 1970's... a throwback to when the event started.
The organizing committee says it's remained a tradition since it has something for everyone.
But it's not just something for people in Pekin to enjoy.
Committee Chairman Doug Godke says, " This is a community activity. However, when you say its a community activity, when you look, there are a lot of people that come from a large area around. Our vendors come from many different states to be here."
One of the most popular events is the hunt for the Marigold Medallion.
And congrats to Jon Flynn... Who found it on Wednesday.
