GLASFORD-- The boil order remains in effect for the Village of Glasford. On Thursday, the city shut down the water to the town to make repairs. Illini Bluff school district also canceled classes for the day. As of Friday the city has turned the water back on and school has been back in session. Glasford says the problem is being resolved and there still may be discoloration of water in some areas.
City officials are saying the water is safe to drink but will still keep the boil order until further notice.
