Proper gun use? Proper gun use would've meant not bringing the gun to school. If this weapon belonged to his parents, I hope they are prosecuted for not securing it properly. As for your comment about the teacher being loaded, yea, that's what we need. More guns, and guns in the classroom at all times so they're always around our children. It's that train of thought by gun enthusiasts that scares the living daylights out of me. Let's all carry, and then we can all shoot each other at any given moment.

Gladthis turned out the way it did. Would have been great if the kid would have been taught proper gun use by his parrents if this was were the gun came from. Also would had been nice if the State of Illinois had a Concelled Cary Law and the teacher having met all requirements for this would have had a gun to protect the students had this incident had started going another way. Thank God in this case it didnt. Remember the police can not protect the public every second every day, we must be responsible and protect our own and be allowed to in the State (??) of Illinois.
