New Furniture Shop Set to Open in Morton

MORTON- A new furniture store will soon add a little style to Morton.
Furniture and accessory consignment shop, First Dibs, will open September 12 at 201 North Main Street.
The shop features gently used and antique items, including desks, tables, lamps and mirrors. Owner Nora Butler says its a mix of traditional and contemporary. She's hoping she has a little bit for everyone.
"I am very excited about it. I love working with furniture and accessories. And just finding all these pieces to put in here has been fun, interesting. And meeting all the people that have owned these pieces and want to sell them now. It's just been a great experience," she said.
First Dibs opens Wednesday, September 12, at 10 a.m. Store hours will be Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
