Peoria Co. Real Estate Taxes Due

A reminder real estate taxes in Peoria County are due Wednesday, September 5th. Taxes are payable at most county banks, at the City Treasurer's office, by mail, by credit card via the phone or the internet, by electronic check via the internet, or in person at the Peoria County Treasurer's office in the courthouse from 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Payments made by mail must be postmarked by the post office on or before September 5th; be sure to verify pick up times at mail receptacles to ensure an accurate postmark. Payments postmarked after September 5th will be subject to a penalty charge. The appropriate payment stub located at the bottom of the tax bill should accompany the tax payment.
