Police Seek Suspect in Attempted Sexual Assault

Peoria Police need your help finding a suspect in what they call an attempted sexual assault early Tuesday. Police say two young girls were on their way to school near Spitznagle and Rock Island when the suspect came up from behind and grabbed them and tried to drag them into an alley. The girls were able to fight off the suspect who fled on foot. He is described as African American male, dark complected, in his 20's , his hair was in braids.
