PEORIA -- Three people are in court this afternoon for allegedly killing 68-year-old James Cohee.
25-year-old Amanda K. Payne of Marquette Heights is charged with murder and is being held on $1.5 million bond.
17-year-old Devon C. Moore and 16-year-old Zachary Cotter, both of Peoria, are being held on $1 million bond.
Cohee, a former teacher, was found dead in his home in Mapleton's Lake Camelot subdivision.
Concerned neighbors called 911 after noticing his garage door wide open and his vehicle gone.
The three suspects are set to appear in court again on Sept. 27.
