PEORIA--A new coffee shop is set to open on the corner of Meadowbrook road and Dries lane. The owner of Family Medical and Plaid Daisy has decided to expand his business experience. He plans on teaming up with Peoria's "30-30 Coffee" for staffing and also for selling their product.

The new shop will combine Family Medical and The Plaid Daisy all under one roof. The shop's title is set to be Midnight Espresso. "people don't come here unless they have to, I think what can happen with this is people come have a cup of coffee and look at the stuff we have" says Chris Monroe, the owner of the business'. Monroe wants to make it easier on the people coming in to look at his medical supplies. He says that sometimes elderly have to sit in the waiting room and having something they can do in the meantime will be beneficial.

Monroe says that the coffee shop isn't restricted to his patients. He encourages that the public come and use the coffee shop as their local hang-out spot. He wants people to enjoy the same coffee at "30-30" that he taste. The new shop is set to open in February.
