PEORIA -- Shoppers are loading up for Labor Day.
If you haven't been to the grocery store yet, you might want to head that director.
We stopped in at Hy-Vee in Peoria and found lots of people hitting the aisles before the holiday.
They're buying everything from veggies to chips.
Locals tell us a little bit about their plans.
"Football and Chili... that's about it."
"My labor is going to be working on redoing my wife's closet," said
"Just relaxing, instead of trying to find something to do. Maybe sitting at home on the deck with a glass of wine," said Mark Gates.
Some folks tell us the rain put a dent in their Labor Day plans, but Hy-Vee's store manager said the sales are good and people are still out shopping.
