PEORIA - The remnants of Hurrican Isaac left their mark on central Illinois Saturday, and more bad weather could move in Sunday.
Rain fell for most of the day along with heavy winds and a few tornado touchdowns.
At one point early Saturday, there was so much water Peoria shut down the intersection of Lake & University because of flooding.
It eventually reopened, but drivers were still cautioned to keep an eye out for rising water in low areas.
There were also reports of tornado touchdowns in Marshall, Stark and Woodford Counties. A tiny twister was also spotted on the Peoria & Knox County line.
No significant damage was reported, and there were no reports of any injuries.
Emergency officials only reported minor damage to a corn field and a tin roof blown off a shed.
