PEORIA -- District 150 is bracing for more budget troubles.
Treasurer Dr. David Kinney said expenses are exceeding revenue, putting the district about four million dollars in the red.
He said the deficit accounts for about two percent of the district budget. He said its revenue is down about five millin dollars, with much of it stemming from the loss of state aid.
Kinney said, "When we look at a deficit of about two percent, we'll continue to do things such as watch our overtime, we'll watch the expenditures that we make there may be some things we can put off as we go through the year to see how we can close that gap some."
He said there are no current plans to cut any programs.
