PEORIA- This year's Budweiser Illinois Blues Festival will happen at Expo Gardens, not at the Peoria Riverfront.
Organizers say there was too much of a risk for rain, as the remnants of hurricane Isaac move closer to Central Illinois. They say that even though the venue changed, the good things about the festival will be the same.
"We still have three great stages of music so nothing has changed because of our lineup. We'll still have great food we're a fish fry. We've got barbecue coming in, all kinds of good blues food," said event director Jannell Justice.
