BLOOMINGTON--A new clothing store is giving shoppers more bang for their buck.
Resale fashion chain "Clothes Mentor" is officially open at Lakewood Plaza.
The store features high end women's clothing and accessories for up to 70 percent off the regular purchase price.
It buys used items like purses, jackets, and tops from women, then turns around and sells them.
All clothing must be name brand and in great condition.
Customers like Marlene Conlin say the store isn't only stocking her closet; it's keeping her wallet full too.
"You get bargains and you don't need to pay hundreds of dollars," said Conlin. "You get something that fits and it's a name brand. Save some money and use the money for something else."
Clothes Mentor staff say resale shops are on the rise.
It expects to have 80 stores open by the end of the year.
