PRINCEVILLE- A Princeville packaging plant is almost finished with an expansion that will create 50 jobs over the next five years.
FCA Packaging is a manufacturing business that mostly works with industrial parts. It makes boxes and crates to ship all over the country. Caterpillar is one of its customers. The million dollar project is financed through the company's own budget. Plant manager, Joe Cave, said it was necessary.
"Our customers are telling us that we should expect 50 percent growth over the next five years. So in preparation for that, our old process was pretty much maxed, so we needed to add some additional space to prepare for that," Cave said.
Cave said the building should be done by the end of the month. He hopes to start hiring in January.
