Pontiac Students Honored For P2D2 Program

Pontiac, IL -- Students at Pontiac High School are receiving a very prestigious award.
Leaders of the P2D2 program received the Scouts of the World Award at School.
They were honored on their recent trip to Sweden this year, but were unaware of the award until the presentation.
P2D2 is a prescription pill and drug disposal program geared toward keeping our environment safe from misuse and abuse of pharmaceuticals.
Students say they can't imagine doing anything else besides helping the environment
Scientists say they have found traces of pharmaceuticals in over 80 percent of waterways tested.
