WMBD/WYZZ-TV - TREMONT, Ill. -- After giving up and average of 36 points a game last year, the Tremont Turks are looking for a change.

"We have to be better defensively this year," said head coach Lou Wicks.

The Turks will be looking for their first playoff berth since 2007 this fall. They think it lies with who well they can stop opponents.

"We've been working on defense all summer, got a lot better in 7-on-7 too," said senior Colin Honan. "Coming out of last year, we weren't as physical as we are this year."

Tremont hosts Heyworth in the season opener Aug. 24.
