The judge took the motion to suppress under advisement. 25 year old David Gharrett is facing the murder charges in connection with the April 2011 death of Destiny Cox. Gharrett was arrested after the three year old girl was found unresponsive in a rural Chenoa home and later pronounced dead at a Peoria hospital where she was lifeflighted. Autopsy results show the youngster died of multiple blunt force injuries. The child's mother, Candis Ethridge, who was charged with endangerment has already been sentenced.
