Peoria Clothing Store Expanding in Normal

NORMAL - A new business is coming to Uptown Normal, and it's one you might've heard of before.
Apricot Lane is a women's boutique based in California that sells clothing and accessories.
It has two locations in Illinois, including one at the Shoppes of Grand Prairie in Peoria.
But the Town of Normal said Wednesday the store is moving into the first floor of Uptown Crossing.
The mixed-used building is located in Uptown at the intersection of North St. and Fell Ave. It has student apartments, a CVS Pharmacy and Illinois State University offices.
Apricot Lane will be occupying a 2,000 sq. ft. space with a planned opening in October.
