By: Rick Moll
Updated: July 18, 2012
- Ameren is reporting about 12,000 customers in Bloomington-Normal are without power.

Ameren crews are being dispatched to the main substations in Bloomington, but it's still is causing the outage. She was also not sure when power would be restored.

Police say traffic lights are off on portions of Main Street and they remind drivers to treat a light that's out as a stop sign and be extremely careful when approaching an intersection.

Due to the outage all classes at Lincoln College's Normal campus have been cancelled for this evening.
