Pekin to Undergo Flooding Study

PEKIN-Tonight the Pekin Council voted to approve a $59,000 study to figure out what's causing flooding in the area.
The flooding is taking place in homes and streets near Derby Street in Pekin.
The project by Midwest Engineering Associates would happen in two phases.
First, to examine the area and identify the sewer issue. Then, figure out how to fix it.
The vote passed unanimously.
Midwest Engineering Associates is already working on a other storm flood study in Pekin.
