McLean County Man Dies In Early Morning Car Wreck

Normal, IL -- Officials continue to investigate a fatal car crash in Normal.
The accident happened at the intersection of Linden Street and Northtown Road around 2:20 a.m.
A male driver was the lone occupant in the single car crash.
He was found inside the vehicle, which caught on fire after striking a tree.
Authorities rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
He was pronounced dead by the McLean County Coroner's Office.
The victim has not been identified at this time, but is believed to be a resident of McLean County.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
