West Nile Virus Found in Tazewell County

Tazewell County has its first West Nile virus positive mosquito batch this year. According to a release Friday from the Tazewell County Health Department, the confirmed positive virus was discovered June 21st. The best way to prevent West Nile or any other mosquito borne illness is to reduce the number of mosquitoes around your home and to take personal precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
