BLOOMINGTON--Man's best friend is populating many work places.
That's because it's national "Take your Dog to Work Day."
Shawn Watson manages Upper Limits Indoor Rock Climbing Gym with the help of his yellow lab Lucy.
The pair has been co-workers for more than two years.
Watson says customers have grown used to greeting Lucy, and many stop in just to see her.
If allowed, he recommends more people take their dogs to work.
Watson says it creates a friendly atmosphere and is better for canines than keeping them cooped up at home.
"To have them at least be at work with you around people is good for them instead of sitting at home by themselves in a cage possibly," explained Watson.
"Take Your Dog to Work Day" is meant to celebrate canines across the country, and promote their adoption.
