Peorian Killed in Evening Accident

A Peoria man was killed Thursday evening after being hit by a jeep on the city's near north side. 48 year old Daniel Dismang was crossing in the 2900 block of Northeast Adams when he was struck by an SUV just before 6pm. Dismang was taken to OSF St. Francis Medical Center but was pronounced dead just minutes later. Peoria Police and the Peoria County Coroner are investigating.
