East Peoria Breaks Ground on New Library

EAST PEORIA-- East Peoria's breaking ground on it's future library.
The ground breaking ceremony took place today for the new Fondulac District library.
The facility is the first of several buildings to be completed in the upcoming months.
East Peoria Mayor Dave Mingus says he's excited for the area's progress.
"This is the first building on the civic triangle which is intended to uh be there for the residents of East Peoria and the region and residential and regional friendly downtown region the first building to go up I'm very happy," says Mingus.
The new home for the Fondulac District Library has been in the making for ten years and will be completed in 2013.
