EAST PEORIA - With temperatures on the rise... nothing sounds better than a dip in the pool.
And now you can cool off and take action all at the same time.
Splashdown Water Park in East Peoria is teaming up with Easter Seals for a "Splash for Cash" fundraiser.
This summer, twenty percent of the sales at splash down is being donated to Easter Seals.
And on days like today, the park gets pretty full, so that means more money to help families who need it.
Brooke Potendyk of Splashdown says, "When it's really warm out, it's a really good way to raise money, because as you can see, we're at capacity. They're going to make a ton of money today off of Splash for Cash."
The fundraiser runs from 3 to 6 PM, every Saturday and Sunday through the end of summer.
