WMBD/WYZZ-TV - BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The high school state championship football games will rotate between Champaign and DeKalb starting in 2013, the Illinois High School Association announced Monday.
Northern Illinois University will host state football title games in odd-numbered seasons starting next year. The move is being made because the University of Illinois will host Big Ten football games on Thanksgiving weekend those seasons and Memorial Stadium will not be available to the IHSA.
