One of eight men, rounded up as part of the Peoria Most Violent Offender Program, pleaded guilty Thursday in Peoria federal court. 24 year old Spencer Furlow pleaded guilty, court officials said, to unlawful transportation of a firearm. He will be sentenced in October. Furlow, along with seven others, were apprehended in April as part of an effort, authorities say, to tackle violence on Peoria streets. Most of the eight were charged with being felons in possession of a firearm. So far, three defendants have pleaded guilty.
