Two Arrested in South Peoria Homicide

PEORIA - Two people are behind bars in connection with the city's latest homicide.
Sergio Herron, 19, was taken into custody just before 11 p.m. Thursday night at Northwoods Mall. He's being held in the Peoria County Jail pending formal charges.
Also arrested is Justice Braggs, 17. She's expected to be charged with obstructing justice.
The two are booked in connection with a fatal shooting in south Peoria Thursday afternoon. Kelin Drummond, 19, was found in a car in the 2700 block of Latrobe St. with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Another victim was found at Trewyn School with a gunshot wound and transported to a local hospital.
