Groups Gather for Holiday Relaxation and Fun

PEORIA- For many, Memorial Day is not only a time to reflect, but a chance to relax and have a little fun.
We went to Peoria's Glen Oak Park to see what people are doing for a good time. We found one group spending time together grilling out.
Local pastor Anthony Randle says this morning he got the idea to bring people together who didn't have a place to go. He says the holiday is all about the people you share it with.
"You know we just get together and just love on one another. And love begets love. So we just want to spend some time in the park and give away some food and just love on each other," said Randle.
If you're looking for something to do... He says food is free to anyone who shows up and it'll be served up until the food runs out.
