Peoria Driver Pleads Guilty in Fatal Accident

A Peoria driver pleaded guilty Thursday to a DUI charge in connection with an accident last year which killed a married couple. 30 year old Jeffrey Kallister entered his plea and faces from probation up to 15 years in prison when he's sentenced in June. Police say Kallister's car struck a motorcycle at Sheridan and Glen, killing Michael and Rachel Korenchuk. Michael was pronounced dead at the scene while his wife died later at a local hospital. Prosecutors claim Kallister's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit.
