A bill, co sponsored by Central Illinois State Representative Jason Barickman to abolish the General Assembly Scholarship Program, was sent back to committee Wednesday. According to the Illinois General Assembly website, the bill, which has already passed the Illinois House, was sent back to the Illinois Senate Executive Committee to consider a new amendment.
