Peoria Receiving Large Amount of Federal Grant Money

Peoria will receive three large federal grants. The city will receive $1,589,868 for Community Development Block Grants to help with housing and provide economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons; $151,023 from Emergency Shelter Grants to assist local emergency homeless shelters; and $481,835 for HOME program grants which would help fund housing programs
