BLOOMINGTON--A brand new billboard is encouraging people to help a convicted murderer prove he didn't do the crime.
The sign supports Jamie Snow, who is serving a life sentence in prison for the 1991 murder of gas station attendant Bill Little.
It went live Tuesday and offers a toll free tip line to anyone with information about the case.
The billboard is funded by Snow supporters who believe he didn't get a fair trial.
They say evidence found at the scene and witness testimonies don't link snow to the crime.
The hope is that McLean County authorities will reopen the investigation.
"Jamie didn't do this crime," said Snow Supporter Pam Wilson. "He passed the lie detector test a long time ago and original detective didn't think he did it either. And for some reason they decided to go after him."
The billboard will be displayed through July.
Snow's case is also being investigated by the Chicago Exoneration Project.
