Self Proclaimed Priest Pleads NOT GUILTY to Theft

A former self proclaimed Galesburg priest, and former owner of Holy Rosary Abbey Church, pleaded NOT GUILTY Monday to theft, financial exploitation of the elderly and deceptive practices. The Rev. Ryan Saint Anne Scott will be back in court July 2nd. Prosecutors accuse Scott of borrowing large sums of money from an elderly woman without paying her back. Scott Monday waived his right to a preliminary hearing but is not allowed to leave the state.
