Planning Commission "Ok's" IWU Rezoning

BLOOMINGTON--Illinois Wesleyan University is one step closer to having student apartments on campus.
The Bloomington Planning Commission has given IWU the "Ok" to rezone its residential lots on empire between Evans and McLean streets.
The university wants to build two apartment buildings for students by fall of next year.
The rezoning proposal goes before city council on May 14th.
If approved, IWU will begin construction this summer.
