East Peoria Police Chief to Retire

EAST PEORIA - East Peoria is losing its police chief.
Chief Ed Papis is retiring. Papis has been head of the department for ten years, and he's been in law enforcement for 37 years.
Papis says he hopes people have felt safe under his leadership.
His retirement is effective May 2nd.
