A Pekin man was formally charged Wednesday with a holdup Monday night outside the Kroger store on Broadway Road. Police say 20 year old Timothy Knoblauch approached two Kroger employees in the parking lot as they were taking a deposit bag into the store. Authorities claim Knoblauch pulled a gun and ordered the workers to give him the bag. Knoblauch was arrested a short time later on a bike near 14th and Hamilton. Knoblauch, whose facing one count of aggravated robbery, was being held on 300 thousand dollar bond.
