Route 8 Construction Project April 30th

  IDOT says road construction is set to begin and utility construction will continue Monday, April 30th on Route 8 (Washington Road) between Summit Drive and Legion Street in Washington. Traffic impacts could include the road being reduced to one lane with flagger control, and motorists should be prepared to stop. The project consists of construction of five lanes of concrete pavement, medians, storm sewer, new sidewalks, and new driveways from Summit Drive to Legion Street in Washington. The roadway portion of the project is expected to be completed by mid November of 2013.
