PEORIA- The liquidation of Peoria's Pere Marquette hotel has been a huge cash cow.
But liquidators say they're still a long way from selling out.
Shoppers continue their quest to score pieces of the historic building.
Jane Pushee, of Mid American Salvage, says sales have been through the roof since it opened on Friday.
But more than half of the hotel's inventory still needs to be sold. More workers were called to help because business is so busy.
Pushee says sales averaged $50,000 per day.
She says the response is exactly what she hoped when she prepared for the liquidation.
