Springfest Draws Thousands to Downtown Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON - So far, things seem to be under control in Downtown Bloomington tonight.
That's where thousands of people are expected to be for the annual "Springfest" celebration.
It's an all day/all night event the bars put on with live music and drink specials.
And many people say this is the largest Springfest they've seen.
Robert Bischoff of Bloomington says, "Eachyear, you see growth and everything. You see more people out here. Everybody's having a good time. You can't beat it out here.
Bloomington Police added six extra officers to their regular patrols.
Springfest got started at noon and ends at Two AM.
